DISCUSSION INFANCY AND CHILDHOOD

DISCUSSION INFANCY AND CHILDHOOD

Q Write a discussion board post. First, take and post a picture of a physical artifact from your own infancy or toddlerhood. Examples might include a baby picture, a toy that has special meaning, or a transitional object. If you are unable to include a picture, you may descriptively write out a memory you have. Discuss how your artifact links with your temperament: Easy Child, Difficult Child, or a Slow-to-Warm-Up Child. You may want to ask a parent or caregiver what kind of temperament you had in infancy and toddlerhood. Next, discuss the advantages and disadvantages of your childhood temperament. For example, who gets held more often, an “easy” or a “difficult baby”? Do parents learn to be more precise and slower-paced with “slow-to-warm-up” babies, or do such babies produce hesitant and less secure parents? Which baby is most likely to be ignored?

This kitty is one of my favorite childhood toy that I loved the most, and I used to cuddle and play with my kitty. During my childhood days, I used to act like brushing its teeth or patting her. I would describe myself as ‘easy or flexible’ child. According to my mom, I was a happy child who always makes others happy, easy-going, adapt easily according to the situation, sociable and no difficulties found in eating habits. My mom used to say that I always was a friendly kid, and always gets mix with other kids easily.
